Find Your Oil Drain Plug The Easy Way!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who owns UniqueDrainPlugs.com ?

A: UniqueDrainPlugs.com is owned 100% by Unique Truck Equipment (UTE) of Grand Rapids Michigan.

Q: Does each valve require its own hose?

A: No, each valve does not need its own hose. However, some valves require a large hose while others require a small hose.

Q: What if I lose the cap?

A: Caps can easily be replaced. Just like hoses, caps are available in 2 sizes, large and small.

Q: Will oil flow out once the cap is removed?

A: No, oil will only flow once the plunger is pressed upward by screwing on the drain hose.

Q: Is it ok to drain oil while it is still hot?

A: Yes! It is recommended that you change the oil while it is still hot. This allows the oil to drain more quickly and efficiently.

Q: Can I take oil samples?

A: Yes, you can easily take an oil sample by screwing on a drain hose a few turns. Once oil begins to reach the level you need for your sample, simply remove the drain hose.

Q: Are these valves safe for on-road and off-road vehicles?

A: You can safely use the Quick Changer Drain Valves in both on-road and off-road vehicles. Unlike other valves that may inadvertently open if their switch is hit or caught on debris, the Quick Changer brand cannot be accidentally opened.
